We are seeking a Logistics Coodinator to join our team.
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, executing, and maintaining international logistics activities related to transportation and supply chain operations. This role works closely with operations, carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time order processing, shipment execution, compliance, and accurate supply chain reporting, contributing to efficient and reliable logistics performance.
- Coordinate and maintain visibility of all shipment movements across major transportation modes (Air, Ocean, and Road).
- Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and warehouse operations to obtain real-time shipment status and ensure timely execution.
- Track departures, transit, and arrivals, proactively addressing risks to delivery timelines.
- Coordinate the full logistics process from pickup, documentation, booking, and shipment, through customs clearance and final delivery.
- Ensure shipments are executed within negotiated timelines, service levels, and cost parameters while maintaining quality standards.
- Ensure all import and export shipments comply with applicable U.S. regulations and international trade requirements.
- Prepare, review, and manage shipping documentation including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.
- Coordinate the movement of goods in and out of Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ), ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Identify and resolve logistics issues such as delays, damaged cargo, capacity constraints, or documentation discrepancies.
- Monitor and analyze logistics KPIs and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
- Support initiatives to optimize logistics processes, improve service levels, and reduce total supply chain costs through continuous review of network activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in the logistics, transportation, or distribution industry.
- Proven experience in international transportation coordination, import/export documentation, and warehouse distribution programs.
- Strong knowledge of transportation routing, freight rates, ocean and air logistics, shipment tracking, and expediting activities.
- Solid understanding of supply chain distribution processes, including order processing and inventory flows.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; experience with logistics or ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple shipments simultaneously, and work under tight deadlines.
- Proactive mindset with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and external partners.
- Fluent English (written and verbal communication required).
The successful candidate will receive a conditional offer which will be contingent upon a successful background clearance obtained through our contracted third-party vendor.
