The S2G team is growing! We’re seeking a Deductions Coordinator for our Vendor Services team.

Scope:
This role is responsible for coordinating pass-through funding between vendors and customers through Solutions 2 GO Inc.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Main vendor point of contact for price protection and back-end rebate (BER) activities.
  • Secondary point of contact for MDF and co-op activities.
  • Create price protection and BER announcements and communicate them to internal and external partners.
  • Collect, organize, and verify all customer submissions for price protection and BERs, ensuring submissions are complete.
  • Ensure vendor deductions are submitted accurately and on time.
  • Issue customer credits for approved activities, including price protection, co-op, and BER.
  • Maintain an “in-transit” log for price protection claims to reconcile future discrepancies.
  • Maintain knowledge of vendor- and customer-specific accounting requirements (e.g., applicable taxes, credit and debit practices, etc.).
  • Assist with the review of receivables statements provided by A/R and reconcile applicable retail deductions.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of master and distribution divisions, vendors, and customers.
  • Assist with other tasks as required, including providing vacation coverage for specific duties.
  • Manage customer audits.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of accounting-related experience
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), with the ability to navigate ambiguity and promptly resolve deduction-related issues
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, organize work effectively, and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
  • Intermediate computer skills in PC-based software, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience working with Great Plains software is an asset
  • Demonstrates a high level of integrity and professionalism at all times, even under pressure
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information

The successful candidate will receive a conditional offer which will be contingent upon a successful background clearance obtained through our contracted third-party vendor. The standard clearance requirements depend on the position and may include some or all of the following: criminal or credit clearance, employment verification, education verification, and driver’s abstract review.
